Overview

The year-round programme of the Hohenschwangau Forum culminates in its Annual Summit, a global gathering dedicated to strengthening democracy, advancing international economic dialogue and promoting international cooperation. The next Annual Hohenschwangau Forum will take place from May 11-15th, 2027, bringing together political and business leaders, representatives of international organisations, diplomats, civil society and leading academic voices from around the world. Over five days, participants will address major political, economic and international developments and explore how democratic leadership, economic cooperation and dialogue can contribute to greater stability, prosperity and peace.

With democracy and international economic dialogue as central pillars, the Annual Summit will provide a platform for high-level exchange on the challenges and opportunities shaping societies and the global economy. Discussions will examine the future of democratic institutions and leadership alongside international economic cooperation, technological and economic transformation, sustainable development and the changing relationship between governments, business and society.
